Meet the Team: Spencer Taylor - Chineham RFC minis Coach
We are pleased to announce Chineham Rugby legend and former 1st Team Captain Spencer Taylor has joined the Chineham Rugby Minis Coaching Team.
Spenny joined Chineham in 2008 and when asked why he has stayed so loyal to the club, Spenny responded, “I have made so many friends for life playing rugby for Chineham, the club is my family and has helped me gain confidence. Chineham Rugby is so welcoming to all, and I love being a part of that”.
Spencer has held several positions at the club, most recently first team captain. He has also agreed to be the clubs first ever club ambassador this season.
Spenny’s reasons for volunteering to coach the minis are, “The children are the next generation which will keep this great club going. I’ve been lucky enough to see minis join and progress to the first team and play regularly alongside them. Having two amazing daughters, I feel passionately about helping them enjoy and learn a sport that has given me so much pleasure”.
